Wholesale Terms of Service

 

The Program

ardent goods is a family owned business. We make and ship all of our products from our facility located in the Bay Area of California. Our wholesale direct program is open to approved retailers, spas and hoteliers.

Once you apply to wholesale direct, if you meet our minimum criteria, we’ll email you with a welcome email and invitation to create an account.

Our wholesale program is for resale purposes only.

What we look for in a wholesale retail partner

  • You own or operate a retail channel within a brick and mortar or an e-commerce.
  • Your business has been actively selling for a minimum of 1 month. We want your customers to love us but let’s be honest, we may not work in all markets. Sales history will encourage informed buying, you’ll know your customer, their likes and an appropriate price point for your market. We want your business, more importantly we want you to succeed!
  • Your retail environment offers various brands, within our product categories. We verify this with your social media account OR your online shop.
  • A resale license. You must have a resale license with your State in order to enroll in our wholesale program

Ordering Information 

  • Our wholesale direct offers the creative freedom to pair your order as desired, requiring no minimum per product
  • We have a $200 order minimum for all wholesale orders 
  • We offer free shipping for all wholesale orders under $1,000 for Standard Ground Delivery. Please keep in mind Transit Time is generally 2-5 business days.
  • We do not offer returns, however we pride ourselves on providing excellent service to our wholesale partners

Selling

  • Items must be priced and advertised at or above our retail pricing
  • Items must be sold on a secure & privately hosted website or in a privately owned brick & mortar store.
  • We do not wholesale for private sellers, consultants, personal use or for free gifting.
  • Items may not be sold via 3rd party websites such as Etsy, Amazon, Ebay, etc.
  • Items may not be sold via 3rd party venues such as open markets or rented stalls.
  • Original packaging must remain on product when sold  
  • Wholesale and Retail Prices are subject to change
  • We do not charge sales tax to approved wholesale members
  • Please note that launching, pre-selling or otherwise promoting products that have not yet been purchased is not allowed. This includes sharing product images on social media or listing products on your website. 

Shipping and Processing

  • Our processing time starts from the day your order is received. Our turnaround time is generally 3-5 business days, depending on the item. We make wholesale personal care items to order to ensure your product arrives with the longest shelf life possible.
  • Transit time will be based on your chosen carrier. We are not responsible for transit delays, please take into account that delays may occur by the carrier prior to ordering.

Returns

  • We do not offer returns or exchanges, however if you have any issues such as damaged units or receiving the wrong items with your order, be sure to contact us within 3 days of receipt of your order so that we can help make your order right. In order to be fully confident with your purchase, do reach out to us for sampling options prior to ordering if you are unsure.
  • If a package is returned to us, a 20% restocking fee is charged unless buyer agrees to pay for reshipment.

Damage Claim Submission Requirements

Damaged and missing items claims will be reviewed by our shipping insurance 3rd party partner. Further items may be necessary for replacement.

All claims must be emailed to wholesale@ardentgoods.co within 3 days of delivery confirmation. 2 Photos must be submitted with your damage claim, see below for the required photos. Items must  not be discarded until the claim is resolved, we may require the items to be shipped to us for further inspection. Failure to provide the required photos below may result in the claim being denied.

 

Required Photos for All Damage Claims

  1. Exterior of the Shipping Box

    • A clear photo showing the outside of the box or packaging.
    • Must display if applicable any visible damage (dents, tears, crushed areas, holes, etc.).
    • Shipping label should be visible
  1. All Damaged Products in One Single Photo

    • All damaged items must be placed together and photographed in one picture.
    • Damage must be clearly visible, if necessary provide additional protos of damage.
    • Additional close-up photos may be requested if needed, but the single group photo is mandatory.

International Accounts

Approval for international wholesale partners is case by case. Orders are subject to additional information, fees and taxes applicable to partner’s country. Buyer will be responsible for contacting their customs office prior to ordering with us to confirm all fees and taxes that are incurred by customs/VAT for the international shipment.

MSRP pricing requirements remain, translated from dollars to buyer’s country currency.

If order is returned to us by the courier at the choice of the recipient, a 50% restocking fee is charged, be sure to confirm all fees associated with your international order prior to placing.

If the above wholesale terms are not followed, we reserve the right to cancel your account.
